SUMMARY:Embracing Your Grief with Crystal Energy and  Vibrational Sound Healing
DESCRIPTION:Grief can leave our body and emotions dysregulated. Come explore two healing techniques which can help process the pain of grief and calm us–crystal energy and vibrational sound healing. We will have a presentation by Lora Windsor\, LCSW on the healing powers of crystals and create a crystal bracelet of your own. Later we will relax with a sound healing meditation provided by certified vibrational sound practitioner\, Sandy LaBianco-Brown. During the guided meditation singing bowls will be used to promote relaxation. Singing bowls are metal or crystal and when hit with a mallet provide sustained sounds or vibrations.  \nDuring the event event snacks and materials for the bracelet activity will be provided. We would encourage anyone during the sound meditation to bring a yoga mat or item of comfort. Chairs will be available for those who wish to participate in an upright position.  \nSpecial thank you to J&R Herra Home Services for donating their beautiful space. We also deeply appreciate Lora and Sandy sharing their time and expertise.

Let Esthetician\, Geralyn O’Brien and Certified Vibrational Sound Healer\, Sandy LaBianco-Brown guide you through two hours of nurturing relaxation with a glow producing facial and stress reducing sound healing. Not only will your skin radiate but you will also leave feeling refreshed and energized. \nYou will learn about safe skin care and winter skin tips. Please come with a yoga mat\, a banket\, pillow\, and a freshly cleaned face. Face masks will be left on during the sound healing and please let us know if you are sensitive to any ingredients or products\, and adjustments will be made. DESCRIPTION:Conley Outreach Community Services returns to Sugar Grove Public Library with another program focusing on grief management. Springtime brings blossoms and new beginnings\, and sometimes grievers feel left behind.  It’s bittersweet–what brings joy can also bring sadness. By connection to nature\, this event offers an opportunity to process these mixed feelings that a griever might be experiencing during springtime. \nParticipants will learn new skills for using items from the natural world to create a mandala and help them integrate their grief.  Supplies will be provided.
