Run to Remember 5k

Join the Sugar Grove Park District for the 2024 Run to Remember 5K & Fun Run. In this event’s inaugural year, the run will be a heartfelt event dedicated to honoring the memory of local inspiration, Lisa Campise. Lisa was a resident of the Sugar Grove Community and worked as a social worker assisting students who attended Kaneland School District. Outside her professional career she also supported the youth and families in need in our community in many ways. The race will start at Harter Middle School and run along the newly dedicated “Honorary Lisa Campise Way” aka Esker Drive. The event aims to bring the community together; promoting health, wellness, and unity. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or looking to enjoy a leisurely walk, this event offers something for everyone.
To encourage participants to support a local charitable program that Lisa was passionate about, the Sugar Grove Park District has set the 5K participant fees at cost. In honoring Lisa Campise’s legacy, they chose Conley Outreach as their charitable partner.
